A.F.I.) impressed naming; Efficiency Medal, G.V.R., India, with Second Award Clasp (Pte., Chota Nagpur R., A.F.I.) mounted court style for wear, minor edge bruise, good very fine (2) £150-180

Bertram Clayton Heysham Collins lived in India for many years and was employed in the Office of the Chief Inspector of Mines. By 1932 he was Head Surveyor, and by 1935 was Superintendent of the Office based at Dhanbad. Serving as a Private in the Chota Nagpur Regiment, Collins was awarded the Volunteer Force Long Service Medal, recorded in I.A.O. 245 of March 1925; the Efficiency Medal (India), recorded in I.A.O. 105 of March 1934, and the clasp to the latter, recorded in I.A.O. 908 of September 1939.
