Ernest Edward Jessel was admitted to 5 Company, Honourable Artillery Company, in 1875. He was promoted to Serjeant in the same company in December 1891. In the H.A.C. Blue Book of 1897 his address was given as ‘Springfield, Staines’. Jessel was awarded the Volunteer Force Long Service Medal by A.O. 100 of May 1907. He was last listed in the Blue Book of 1912.
