James Herbert enlisted in December 1807 and became a Drummer before June 1809. He served in Lieutenant-Colonel Hon. James Stanhope’s company at Waterloo. He was discharged as ‘casualty’ on 22 December 1825. He also received the M.G.S. medal for Barrosa, Nivelle and Nive. Sold with muster details.
