Private Daniel McNicol, 2nd Battalion, was posted missing believed killed on or after 13 January 1942, Slim River. According to a letter written to Mrs. McNicol by a comrade, Private McNicol was “killed in the Jungle.” He has no known grave and is commemorated by name on the Singapore Memorial. Sold with MOD confirmation and copy Death Certificate.
