East Kent Militia, an extremely fine officer’s shoulder belt plate, c. 1840-55, rectangular silver-plate back plate with silver mounts, St Edward’s crown over a bold oak wreath, centrally the White Horse, a scroll above ‘East Kent’, and below on the base of the wreath a scroll ‘Invicta’, two hooks and two studs to the reverse, excellent condition £350-450
