Indian Mutiny 1857-58, no clasp; Q.S.A., 4 clasps, O.F.S., Transvaal., S.A. 1901, S.A. 1902, contained in a contemporary Spink case; Mounted group of four: 1914-15 Star Trio; Order of St Anne with swords, silver-gilt and enamels; Mounted group of six: M.B.E., 1st type; 1914-15 Star Trio with M.I.D.; I.G.S. 1908, 2 clasps, Afghanistan N.W.F. 1919, Waziristan 1929-21; Army L.S. & G.C., G.V.R.; Mounted group of seven: 1914-15 Star Trio with M.I.D.; G.S.M., 1 clasp, Iraq; Defence; Order of the Dannebrog, FR cypher, silver-gilt and enamels; Al Valore Militare, silver, generally very fine or better (19) £140-180

The last group is attributed to Major A. J. Peareth who served with the Buffs for exactly 42 years. He was for many years Secretary of the regimental Past & Present Association and Editor of The Dragon. He died in a car accident on 23 November 1952.
