Barrington-Kennett Trophy, silver medal (A/A Archibald J.D.) fitted with three ribbon bars, one in bronze inscribed ‘One Mile Team Junior 1935’, two in silver inscribed ‘Cross Country Senior 1936’ and ‘Cross Country Senior 1937’; together with three Royal Air Force Athletic & Cross Country Association bronze winners’ medals, all named and dated 1936-38, all in their original presentation cases, nearly extremely fine (4) £80-100

1355114 Sergeant John Douglas Robson Hosie Archibald, 235 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died on 11 August 1941, aged 25, and is commemorated by name on the Runnymede Memorial. No. 235 Squadron was equipped with Blenheims based at Dyce, with a detachment at Sumburgh.
