Case No 16,384. Jonathan Wanstall, Seaman, saved the life of Jesse Hallett (aged 12) from the sea at Broadstairs, Kent, on 9th August 1859. She was carried by the tide out of depth whilst bathing. George Mutton first jumped overboard but entangled in a rope. Wanstall jumped overboard and rescued her. Bronze Medal (successful) to Wanstall.
