Charles Lewis Maitland Makgill Crichton was midshipman of Endymion in China. During the Great War he served aboard Yarmouth, Oropesa, Dee, Tara, Hope (in command), Peyton (on command), and Martial (in command). He was granted permission to accept and wear ribbon of the Russian Order of St Stanislas, 2nd Class with swords, in July 1920. Lieutenant-Commander Crichton died on 7 October 1921. Sold with copy record of service.
