Corporal Tom Wood lived at Golcar and enlisted at Milnsbridge, Yorkshire. He was killed in action France and Flanders 10 October 1917 whilst serving with the 1/5th battalion, West Riding Regiment.

Private James William Ingham was born and enlisted at Halifax. He was killed in action France and Flanders 9 April 1917 whilst serving with the 2nd battalion, West Riding Regiment.
