Second Lieutenant Benson Waldron was killed in action at Passchendaele 31 July 1917 whilst serving with the 19th battalion, Manchester Regiment. His name is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial. Research sold with the lot states that he was twice previously wounded on the Somme.
