Sergeant Leonard Richardson was taken prisoner of war and held at Dulmen.

Sergeant W. Lee was taken prisoner of war and held at Soltau.

Private Harry Jordan Witty was born in Hummonsby and enlisted at Leeds. He was killed in action France and Flanders 9 October 1917 whilst serving with the 9th battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment.

Private J. W. Eade was killed in action France and Flanders 21 March 1918 whilst serving with the 1st battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment.
