Alwyn Edgar Bruce Green was mobilized in the Territorial Army in September 1939, and was commissioned in August 1940. He was promoted to Major in February 1953, and in January 1955 was appointed G.S.O.II at the School of A.A. Artillery, HQ Manorbier, Pembrokeshire. He was qualified as an Air Observation Pilot on Auster aircraft and retired in August 1960.
