2nd (Queen’s) Regiment, a scarce Officer’s Shoulder Belt Plate, c. 1830-55 (Parkyn fig. 83), rectangular burnished gilt back plate with silver mounts, laurel wreath battle honours, centrally a crowned garter with pierced motto ‘Pristinae Virtutis Memor’ on a red enamelled ground, within the garter the Paschal Lamb over numeral ‘2’ on a blue and green enamel ground, large chip to blue enamel at base and most of red enamel missing, gilt rubbed, otherwise good condition £300-400
