A Second World War United States Air Force ‘Flying Tigers’ Blood Chit, printed on silk, 27cm, by 20cm, faded and soiled £50-60

These so called ‘blood chits’ were worn by the Flying Tigers on the back of their jackets and served to act as safe conduct passes to pilots and crew who were brought down over the Pacific territories. They offered financial reward to anyone returning them to there units.
