Great War Memorial Plaques (2), (Robert Malcolm Bowers); (Ernest Albert Clary); together with illuminated memorial scroll for each; a mounted contemporary display, comprising, silk postcards (18), with three photographs to centre of soldiers in uniform, 1 of whom is wearing a Suffolk Regiment cap badge, the whole contained in a contemporary glazed, moulded frame, 76cm, by 61cm, with several other pieces of miscellaneous original documentation and photographs relating to Bowers and Clary, generally good condition £70-100

Private Robert Malcolm Bowers enlisted at Sudbury, Suffolk. He died in Egypt 31 July 1917 whilst serving with the 5th battalion, Suffolk Regiment.

Private Ernest Albert Clary was born in Bulmer, Suffolk and enlisted at Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. He was killed in action France and Flanders 7 June 1917 whilst serving with the 12th battalion, East Surrey Regiment.
