R.H.S. Bronze Medal, Case 40,098: ‘At 5 p.m. on the 18th July, 1913, a seaman fell overboard from the picket boat into 20 feet of water at Grimsby. Major F. R. Boyle, R.M.L.I., jumped in and with a lifebuoy kept him afloat till they were got on board the boat.’
