Frank Edwards was born in Harmstone, Lancashire, lived in Hornsey, Middlesex, and enlisted at Brecon, Brednockshire. Serving with the 3rd Battalion Rifle Brigade, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 21 March 1918, aged 34 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial. He was the husband of Florence Edwards of 28 Park Avenue South, Hornsey, London.
