B.E.M. London Gazette 10 June 1954. ‘Sergeant, South Staffordshire Regiment, Territorial Army

Horace W. Stockham attested into the 5th Battalion South Staffordshire Regiment on 29 May 1914. He was awarded the Territorial Efficiency Medal in A.O. 378 of November 1927, and the Efficiency Medal in A.O. 27 of February 1939. He was awarded 5 clasps to his Efficiency Medal: the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Award Clasps in List No. 14 of A.O. 45 of March 1950; and the 5th and 6th Award Clasps in List No. 52 of A.O. 70 of October 1961. Sold with copied research, including extracts from The Services and Territorial Magazine which indicate he served with the Military Police during the Second World War and that post-war he was a member of the 5th Battalion South Staffordshire Regiment Band.
