Elis, Elis, Olympia, Stater, c. late 450s, eagle flying right with wings above and below his body, grasping snake with his talons and his beak, four countermarks around, rev. thunderbolt with wings above and volutes below, 11.81g/11h (Seltman 43b, this coin). Very fine and attractively toned, very rare (£1,500-2,000)
