Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, dated reverse, 1 clasp, Alexandria 11th July (E. Pank, A.B., H.M.S. Penelope) edge bruise, better than very fine £130-150

Edward Pank was born in the parish of St. Clements, Norwich in August 1858 and entered the Royal Navy as a Boy 2nd Class in February 1875. An Able Seaman by the time of his service in H.M.S. Penelope (December 1880 to November 1882), he was discharged ashore to Melville Hospital in December 1885; sold with a file of research, including copied service record.
