Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, 2 clasps, The Nile 1884-85, Abu Klea (5328 Pte. G. Moseley, 1/Coldm. Gds.) edge bruising and pitting, otherwise nearly very fine £500-600

6 officers and 89 other ranks of the 1st and 2nd Battalions, Coldstream Guards, served in the Guards Camel Regiment on the Nile, of whom all the officers and 80 other ranks fought at Abu Klea. The medal roll does not show the different battalions.

George Moseley was born at Wolverhampton and enlisted into the Coldstream Guards at Birmingham on 12 September 1882, aged 19 years 6 months. He served in Egypt from September 1884 to July 1885, and was discharged on 11 September 1894.
