2 officers and 43 other ranks of the 11th Hussars served in the Light Camel Regiment on the Nile.

Albert Roe was born at Aldershot and was a draper when he enlisted for the 11th Hussars at Colchester on 5 February 1879, aged 18 years 10 months. He transferred in March 1888 to the 17th Lancers and was discharged in the rank of Corporal on 22 October 1899. Sold with copy discharge papers.
