Scoins: M.I.D. London Gazette 23 September 1941. ‘For courage, skill and enterprise in successful submarine patrols’ ‘Leading Steward Cecil Robert Scoins, P/LX.21752, H.M.S. Tigris’. Awarded for patrols in June and July 1941 - during which time the Tigris torpedoed and sank the Italian submarine Michele Bianchi in the Bay of Biscay, 5 July 1941.
