Alfred Robert Knight was the son of Alfred Richardson Knight of Ashford, Kent. Sub-Lieutenant Knight joined the Hawke Battalion in France in July 1916. He was killed in action at Ancre on 13 November 1916, aged 27 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. Sold with copied research.
