Frederick Jones enlisted into the Royal Welsh Fusiliers on 16 November 1914. Later serving with the Labour Corps, he was discharged due to sickness on 8 January 1919. Awarded the Silver War Badge. Sold with copied m.i.c. and S.W.B. roll extract.

Frank Richards was born in Cardiff. A Fitters Helper by occupation, he attested for service in the Army on 9 October 1914, aged 38 years, having previously served eight years with the Shropshire Light Infantry. He served initially with the Welch Regiment and attained the rank of Sergeant, and transferred to the Royal Welsh Fusiliers in February 1916. Latterly serving with the Liverpool Regiment and Labour Corps, he was discharged as medically unfit on 28 February 1919. He was awarded the Silver War Badge. Sold with copied service papers.
