Crimea 1854-56, 2 clasps, Alma, Sebastopol (Thos. Judd 30th Regt.) officially impressed naming, edge bruising and contact marks, otherwise nearly very fine £250-300

Thomas Judd was born at St Ives, Cambridgesgire, in about 1836, and enlisted into the 30th Regiment on 17 January 1853, aged 17. He was wounded at the battle of the Alma on 20 September 1854, and evacuated to Scutari, Turkey, where he remained until 2 April 1855, returning to the Crimea for the remainder of the war. He afterwards volunteered to the 92nd Highlanders, 19 January 1858, for active service in India.
