A good Indian Tulwar, the heavy curved 69cm blade multi-grooved and back-edged at the point, characteristic iron hilt chiselled with panels, fluted grip, pierced langets, knucklebow terminating in a birds head, the whole covered with heavy gold wrap, finely engraved with foliate patterns, complete with its wood scabbard covered with faded red velvet with small plain silver chape, blade with some areas of light rusting otherwise in good condition overall £500-600
