Constance Ellen Warren was first commissioned into the W.R.A.F. on 8 December 1941 as an Assistant Section Officer. She served throughout the Second World War and by September 1956 had made Wing Officer, Commanding the W.R.A.F. with the Far East Air Force. She married in 1960, before retiring in March 1961 at which time she was the tenth most senior W.R.A.F. officer on the Active List.
