‘Silver General Medal with Clasp, and Vote of Thanks, to Police Constable 319A (Ephraim Dyball), for stopping runaway horses. The first service was in Victoria Street, Liverpool, on January 1st, and the second in Old Haymarket, Liverpool, on January 18th 1900. On each occasion the Police Constable showed great presence of mind and courage’.

‘Silver Clasp, Vote of Thanks, and 40s, to Police Constable 319A Ephraim Dyball, for stopping a runaway horse on 11th July 1905’.
