George IV Presentation Gold Ring 1820, set with carnelian intaglio laureate bust of the King wearing the badge of the Order of the Golden Fleece, 20mm x 17mm, the reverse of the stone inscribed ‘georgivs. iv. dg. brit. rex. mdcccxx’, the bezel further inscribed ‘Given by His Majesty to Sir H. Turner’, strong fluted stirrup shank, excellent condition £3000-5000

Believed to have been given to General Turner by the King upon his accession to the throne as George IV in 1820.
