Legion of Frontiersmen Medal for Long Service and Efficiency, silver, re-engraved on reverse, ‘F/Mn. G. H. Whyte’, on ‘New Zealand’ L.S. & G.C. ribbon, some scratches on reverse, good very fine (3) £80-120

The Volunteer Force Long Service Medal to Keller is an incorrect ‘Victoria Regina’ issue and is named in a modern machine-engraved style to accompany his original shooting award.

No. 22 Bandsman John Keller, Kumara Rifle Volunteers, was awarded the New Zealand Long and Efficient Service Medal in 1896.
