Sold with an undated newspaper cutting, reading, ‘Warrant Officer James C. Stewart, R.A.F., Wellbank Farm, has been mentioned in despatches for distinguished service. Warrant Officer Stewart has been in the R.A.F. for 18 years, and has seen service in Africa, Sicily, Italy, and Palestine. Meantime he is instructing recruits at the R.A.F. headquarters’.
