Leading Stoker Albert Henry Davis, R.N., was killed in action at the Battle of Coronel, 1 November 1914, aged 34 years, whilst serving on the armoured cruiser Good Hope. He was the son of Daniel Harry Denis and Mary Ann Davis of Wokingham and the husband of Mrs Lily Davis of 9 Arun Cottages, Waterloo Road, Wokingham, Berkshire.
