Waterloo 1815 (Thomas Hunt, 2nd Batt. 3rd Reg. Guards) fitted with steel clip and ring suspension, very fine £1600-1800

Thomas Hunt was born in the Parish of Hutton, Somerset, and enlisted for the 3rd Foot Guards on 25 September 1813, aged 27, a volunteer from the Oxford Militia, in which unit he had served for three years. He was discharged at London on 5 August 1816, ‘being ruptured on both sides’. Sold with copy discharge papers.
