Oxford mint, Shilling, 1643, mm. Oxford plume on obv. only, large bust, rev. Declaration in large letters, reads pro, three Oxford plumes above, date below, 5.53g/6h (SCBI Brooker 932, same dies; Morr. D-1; N 2444; S 2972). Striking split at 3 o’clock, otherwise very fine (£800-1,000)
