Henry VIII (1509-1547), Third coinage, Groat, Bristol, mm. WS on rev. only, bust 3, Lombardic letters both sides, rose after civitas and lis before bristolie, lis in forks, pellet below shield in third quarter, 2.24g/7h (Whitton 2; N 1846; S 2372). Flan a trifle uneven, otherwise very fine (£300-400)
