Canada Militia, a very fine and rare officer’s shako plate of British 1861 pattern but worn in Canada c1864-78, a crowned eight pointed silver plated star mounted with a gilt circle ‘Canada Militia’, and enclosing a gilt beaver on ground, this on a plated domed ground two lug fasteners; Canada Rifles, a very fine and rare officer’s pouch belt plate, a QVC over maple leaf sprays, enclosing an oval ‘Canada Rifles’, in the open centre a gilt beaver on ground, three screw posts, very good condition (2) £300-350
