A note with the medals states, ‘Attended Parachute Course 150 and graduated on 22 Jan. 1945. He [was] posted to 7 Para and later 12 Para (Airborne Forces Museum) and participated in Operation Varsity in March of 1945. After the war he served in South East Asia and then Palestine. Later in his career he also served in Malaya, again believed to be with SAS’. Sold with cloth ‘Parachute Wings’.
