British South Africa Company Medal 1890-97, reverse Matabeleland 1893, 2 clasps, Rhodesia 1896, Mashonaland 1897 (2136 Troopr. G. Pooley, B.B. Police) cleaned and with some light surface corrosion to the obverse, otherwise good very fine and scarce £1200-1500

Trooper G. Pooley is confirmed on the roll of the Bechuanaland Border Police for Matabeleland 1893, and served as a Trooper in the Gwelo Burghers in Rhodesia and as a Trooper in the Umtali Volunteers in Mashonaland. Only 87 medals issued for Matabeleland 1893 with clasps for Rhodesia 1896 and Mashonaland 1897.
