Military General Service 1793-1814, 9 clasps, Talavera, Albuhera, Ciudad Rodrigo, Badajoz, Salamanca, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Nivelle, Nive (John Unsworth, 48th Foot) edge bruising and contact marks, otherwise nearly very fine £2600-2800

John Unsworth was born at Wigan, Lancashire, and enlisted at Manchester on 21 March 1807, aged 18. His record of service states that he served in the 48th from 25 December 1806 until 18 June 1828, when he was discharged in consequence of worn out limbs, weak and frequently pained. Sold with copy discharge papers.
