Military General Service 1793-1814, 1 clasp, Martinique (Geo. Anderson, Serjt. 8th Foot) good very fine £800-1000

George Anderson is shown on the musters as a Sergeant at the time of Martinique, January to February 1809. He was discharged with the rank of Sergeant-Major at Quebec on 24 April 1810, having provided two substitutes. Anderson settled in Canada and was appointed a Colonel in St John’s County Militia, New Brunswick, on 27 November 1838.
