France, L’Intransigeant, 1925, an Art Deco bronze award medal by G. Contaux after Cassandre, futuristic head right with mouth open wide, reverse wreath and pillars, un-named, 60mm (cf. Baudey/Bricher 1992, 128). An important and significant Art Deco medal, extremely fine and nicely patinated, very rare; in original fitted brown Wiedmann case (£150-180)
