A Victorian Royal navy officer’s sword, for an officer of the Royal Naval Reserve, the straight 80cm blade etched with foliate scrolls crowned fouled anchor and ‘RNR’ regulation solid half-basket guard incorporating crowned fouled anchor and RNR folding side guard lions head pommel fish-skin covered grip bound with copper wire, blue and gold bullion sword knot, complete with black leather scabbard with gilt mounts, good condition overall £200-250
