I.D.S.M. Governor-General’s Order 417 of 29 May 1937 for operations in Waziristan in April of the same year.

One of approximately 30 such awards for pre-war operations on the North West Frontier 1936-39 and undoubtedly one of the very first G.VI.R. issues ever made.
