Franklin St. John North, of 15 Tamworth Villas, Mitcham Common, Surrey, was born on 17 August 1898. He was commissioned into the R.F.A. in August 1917 and was posted to No.11 Balloon Company. He was appointed a Temporary Lieutenant in October the same year and promoted to that rank in February 1918, having been transferred to No.6 Balloon Company. Lieutenant North was transferred to the Unemployed List on 14 July 1919. Sold with copied service papers and gazette extracts.
