Henry Reginald Wright was born in 1895 at Dartmouth, Devonshire. Prior to the war he worked as a Clerk in the Civil Service, enlisting into the 1/15th London Regiment in August 1914, with which unit he was wounded in the attack on High Wood on 15 September 1916. He received his commission into the 2/15th London Regiment in April 1917 and continued to serve with them until relinquishing his commission in March 1920. Sold with eight photocopied pages from recipients National Archives correspondence file and confirmation of Coronation 1953.
