Thomas Whittaker Berry was born in Birkenhead, Cheshire, on 4 July 1889. A Motor Driver by occupation, he enlisted into the R.N.A.S. as a Petty Officer Mechanic, on 30 October 1914. He served with the Armoured Car Division in both the Dardanelles and France. He was discharged ashore on 18 October 1915. Sold with copied service paper.
