This rating served in the Royal Navy c.1992-2006, mainly on aircraft carriers. He served on the three main carriers of this class and was aboard H.M.S. Invincible for ‘Operation Deliberate Force’ for which he was awarded the N.A.T.O. Medal, and in 1998/99 was on the same aircraft carrier for ‘Operation Bolton’ for which he was awarded the ‘Air operations Iraq’ clasp, which is scarce to the Royal Navy.

Sold with the cap tallies from H.M.S.
Collingwood, H.M.S. Ark Royal and H.M.S. Illustrious; together with the recipient’s flash hood; a commemorative book for H.M.S. Invincible 1980-2005 and two official photographs of the ship. Also with two commemorative wall plaques from H.M.S. Invincible’s visit to Latvia which were liberated when the ship was decommissioned in 2005.
