Lieutenant Bernard Ganley Lancashire Fusiliers, died in Italy on 16 July 1944, aged 24 years. He was buried in the Naples War Cemetery. He was the son of William and Beatrice Ganley of Levenshulme, Manchester. Sold with damaged card medal forwarding box addressed to ‘Mrs B. Ganley, 7 Ethel Terr., Levenshulme, Manchester 19’ and with named condolence slip.
